Irish Step Dancers!

Quite a few years ago I did a painting with a trio of Irish step dancing cats. This year I decided there should be a girl in there with the kitties! I like how it came out.

Just Married!

So my family and I participate in a weekend themed photography contest. Sometimes the children participate, sometimes they don't. Well this weekend the theme was, "Valentine's", and both children decided they had ideas for the theme too. Anna, treading on my sacred ground, asked if she could use one of my Volkswagen car models in her photo. Her theme? "Just Married" How could I say no?? It was such a great idea, I was disappointed I hadn't painted it before. So anyhow, her photograph inspired this painting! (She wanted to make sure she got credit...did I mention she's only 8??)

Frida and Cats

I get a lot of requests for certain paintings, and this is one of those. I don't mind as I really like this one personally! I'm working on a Frida ornament to go with the skellie cat ornaments, so look for that soon!

Angel and Cat

I was looking through my old desk shelves to see if I had any more mini canvases and came across this piece of wood, with the angel and cat drawn out, and a hook already on the back. I'm thinking this was something I'd planned to finish before the move to Pennsylvania, but forgot about. I've got about 6 paintings I'm simultaneously working on, so why not just add another into the mix! I ended up finishing this painting before the others. I love crackle...

Today I hope to finish another of the Frida and Skellie Cats paintings. I keep getting requests for it and I think this will be the 4th or 5th time I've repainted this idea. Most times Frida has a different colored dress. Today it will be red. =)

Mini VW's

After looking all around for my mini wood easels (found in my daughter's room), I painted a couple new mini VW's! They're 3" x 3". =^..^=

Cornelius Crow

Last night I finished a commissioned painting of my old Cornelius Crow painting. Was always one of my favorites, and is the main image on my business card. =)
