Little Red Riding Cat

Fence pumpkin turning orange!

Hooray for September 1st! That means it's only 22 days until Autumn! This is the month I've been waiting for; when the real Halloween stuff starts getting stocked in the shops! Sure half the basement is full of Halloween props and decorations, well stuff that we don't have out year-long. It's always such a fun time to head out and look at the new items on display in stores, and online. Then naturally, when October 1st comes around and we head to the basement, we wonder exactly how we have so much Halloween stuff. =P
"Pumpkin Pickers" - inspired by our own fence pumpkins.

I gave the kids today off from cyber school as it's Wednesday and the new Ghost Hunters is on, but I also took the time to eek out a couple of new paintings. Just two small ones today, but I will be working on a few larger ones and might even finish one 16" x 20" I've been carrying around for 4 years."Lost in the Woods"

I really like the black/white/grey with a splash of red paintings. This is a change from last year's "Which Way" ghost kitties. I thought a Red Riding Hood cat would add the right amount of red. Three cuties lost in the woods on their way to the Halloween party. (Don't worry, they ended up finding their way!)
