Purrfect Settee

There's nothing better than inspiration from right here at home, which is the case with my paintings most of the time. Puddy and Merlin love to lounge on the settees, even if I hover over them taking photos. This painting is of dear cats on a turquoise settee in front of a very red wall.

Painting for this Friday! I'm feeling rather tired...perhaps it's the grey weather today after yesterday's beautiful sun shine. I'll also be winding down the pink/love/hearts paintings and moving on with business as normal. =^..^=

My painting for today (yes I've skipped a couple days of posting) is a fun pink VW bug! With soft, white heart-shaped clouds! Purrfect for Valentine's day or any day! =^..^=

I'm continuing my Cupid cat series, adding an orange/ginger tabby today! I haven't scanned him yet so see the photo of all three Cupid cats together! There will be more in this series. Silver tabby, siamese, tuxedo...etc. =P

If you know how I paint, you know I *love* painting series! There are so many different kitties out there, I like to offer paintings that are similar with different colored cats. So here's another Valentine kitty in black! A bit 'antiqued', just how I like it!
